Privacy note

Last updated 20 October 2026. This is a plain-English summary of what happens to your details. It is not legal advice. It covers this website and Pirdel Reports, our tool at app.pirdel.com.

On this website

We collect only what you type into the form: your name, email address, whether you are a host or a server owner, your company or server name, and any message you add. We use it to reply to you about the pilot or an early review, and to keep a list of people who asked so we know who to tell about updates. Form messages are sent to us by a form service (Formspree) and arrive in our email. They are not shown anywhere on the site.

Website analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to count visits to this website and see which pages and buttons are used, so we can improve it. It sets no cookies, does not build a profile of you, and is not used for advertising. It is switched off if your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

If you sign up to the Pirdel newsletter, we collect your email address only. We use it to send you the newsletter, about once a month: lag fixes, mod and plugin tips and Pirdel updates. We only do this if you tick the consent box and confirm your address using the link in our confirmation email. Our legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email, or by emailing hello@pirdel.com. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe. We use MailerLite to send the newsletter, so your email address is processed on their systems. The signup box loads a script from MailerLite, which stores a random identifier in your browser's local storage so its form can work. Using the free report, joining the pilot list or buying a Pirdel Review does not add you to the newsletter. Full details are in the Pirdel Reports privacy notice.

In Pirdel Reports

You paste a Spark profiler link. We read that report from Spark, work out a diagnosis, and keep the diagnosis and a few facts about the server (software, Minecraft version). We do not keep the raw profile.
We keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for 30 days to stop abuse, then clear it. We also note the country the request came from, using an offline list. We do not store your IP address in readable form.
Reports are kept for up to 24 months, then deleted. Anyone with a report's link can open it, so share links with care.
Visitors get no tracking or advertising cookies. A single sign-in cookie is used for our own staff only.
The tool is read-only. It never asks for server logins, passwords, RCON or panel access.
